VANCOUVER CANUCKS FANTASY HOCKEY RULES AND REGULATIONS

These Official Contest Rules and Regulations (the “Rules”) apply to the 2013-2014 Canucks Fantasy Hockey Contest (the “Contest”), brought to you by Vancouver Canucks Limited Partnership (“VCLP”) and sponsored by Rogers Communications Inc (the “Contest Sponsor”). By participating in the Contest, users (“Contestants”) fully and unconditionally accept and agree to the Rules. The Rules are final and binding on all matters relating to the Contest.

  1. Contest Eligibility

    The Contest is open to individuals 19 years of age or older legally residing in BC.

  2. Contest Period

    The Contest Period runs from Thursday, October 3, 2013 at 12:00 p.m. Pacific Standard Time (“PST”) and closes on Monday, April 14, 2014 at 12:00 p.m. PST.

  3. How to Enter and Participate

    NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN THIS CONTEST.

    Contestants must create an account at www.canucks.com/fantasy. Each Contestant is limited to one account.

    A new fantasy game round (a “Round”) is played for each Vancouver Canucks regular season game (each, a “Game”). Contestants can register to play in each Round during the time period beginning no later than 10:00 a.m. PST on the day of the Game and ending five (5) minutes before the Game is scheduled to begin. Once registered, the Contestant will select a roster of Vancouver Canucks players for his or her fantasy team for that Game Round. Contestants are limited in the number of players that they can choose for a Game Round by a salary cap.

    Contestants can earn both Game Round points and Bonus points. Game Round points are earned based on how the players on the Contestant’s fantasy team perform during the Game. Game Round points are awarded for a variety of different statistics, including goals, assists and hits.

    In the event that two or more Contestants tie for any of the top five spots in a Game Round, the higher-placed Contestant will be determined using the following tie-breakers:

    • the Contestant who has used a higher number of different Canucks players on his or her roster throughout the preceding month ranks higher for that Game Round than the Contestant who used a lesser number of different Canucks players on his or her roster;
    • if the Contestants are still tied, the Contestant whose players scored more goals for that Game Round ranks higher than the Contestant whose players scored fewer goals; and
    • if the Contestants are still tied, the Contestant whose players had more assists for that Game Round ranks higher than the Contestant whose players had fewer assists

    100 Bonus points will be awarded to any Contestant who registers for 25 or more Game Rounds. An additional 100 Bonus points will be awarded to any Contestant who registers for 50 or more Game Rounds.

    Game Round points contribute to a Contestant’s Monthly Average, Monthly Total, Season Average and Season Total. Bonus points contribute only to a Contestant’s season average points and season total points.

  4. Prizes

    There are a total of sixteen (16) monthly prizes and two (2) grand prizes available to be won.
